Description
Black dress jacket with silver coloured buttons embossed with a thistle surrounded by a wreath and the words "Semper vigilo" below. Single breasted closed by four buttons down the front. Four pockets with black piping on the top edges, two breast pockets had poppers for fastening closing on both corners and two at waist, closed by two buttons. Tie at the waist closes with silver belt buckle with double closure and a popper fastener on belt end but no matching closure Two silver buttons on shoulder to close the epaulet, in silver no. "933" on both shoulders with a silver "SC" with a crown above it. Short red, white and black ribbon sewn above left breast pocket. Single vent at the back. Black lining and two inside pockets. Label on proper right pocket embroidered in yellow is "Sijaris" and under it in white "Pure new wool" with logo and "DRY CLEAN ONLY" and care labels. Another label stitched into the bottom right hand side of the jacket printed on it is "JACKET" with on left of label "L X B S C W HEIGHT / S.& J. HARRIS ..TD / 17 STOCKWELL ST. GLASGOW ....." Bottom right of label "K 3908". Handwritten in ink on top of label and underlined is "638 (not clear) WATSON".
