Description
Large indented vase with blue speckled glaze. The three small indents are on the upper side of the shoulder. The lip is very simple. The glaze covers the interior. There are several firing cracks near the base.
The foot ring is not glazed and there are three stilt marks on the base. The vase is thick walled.
Stamped DUNMORE POTTERY on the base - type 2.
Just below the lip are several large and medium sized areas with plaster and paint where the vessel has been repaired. Beside two of these are secondary chips to the glaze. There are also some tiny specks of white paint on the face.
