pad; pulling
Description
Two pads for attachment to heavy objects so that they could be pulled by strong man Saxon de Milo. Each pad takes the form of a sponge in a red silky fabric container, around which a leather band is wrapped, but only sewn onto one side. A thick rope is tied onto this band consisting of two lengths tied together in a loop. Presumably the pads were placed around the wrists, shoulders or arms.
