Description
Fragments of shrapnel from hollow charged grenades. The most common are disc from the base plate and parts of the tail fins for the gas discharge. These allowed the grenades to be fired from a rifle. Made of a thin steel alloy, painted mustard in colour. One fragment has the inscription ".T.III".
