Description
Copper alloy clothes fastener. Small disc with raised rim, attached central dome on one side and shank on the other.
Circular stud with a flanged border decorated with an incised marginal line. A beaded rim surrounds the central bezel which has held enamel or an inset, now missing. A pointed strip of metal overlaps the flanged edge running into the central area. A square-sectioned shank surrounded by traces of lead-tin alloy projects from the back.
