Bust of William Symington by D W Stevenson with caption "Designer and builder of the first practical steam boat, the "Charlotte Dundas built at Grangemouth. From the Museum of Science and Art, Edinburgh" Annotated on reverse "This photo was the property of Mr Jas Grosart, Teacher, Grahamston, Falkirk & was given to me after his death by his nephew, Captain Grosart.
