Small kimono in white cotton fabric bearing a repeating floral design. Mostly pink, with yellow and green.This kimono was worn by a schoolgirl in the late 1930s at Laurieston Gala Day. Many of the children represented the different countries of the world by wearing their national costume. One girl represented Peace.

One girl represented Peace. Her mother acquired the feathers from a farmer, ie he's feathers. Flies followed her all day as the feathers were not cured."
