Description
Linen table cloth used in Linlithgow. White linen with pattern woven into it. Pattern is the "crest of the Ramsay Wardrop, A Demi- Eagle issuing from an Antique Crown, wings expanded. The shield contains, upper half, divided by The Chevron, (back ground would be gold) the mullets denoting the house, (the back ground of the upper half would be red). The lower half contained the Lion Rampant, (back ground would be red). The motto, (Superna Sequor), is "I follow heavenly things". In pink thread is "1822" and "RW" and in red is the letter "A".
