Description
Circular plaque moulded in relief with two classical style figures and finished in green lead glaze. On the right is an old woman leaning against a centrally mounted table and lighting an oil lamp with a taper. Beside her, on a three-legged stool, a cat sits upright. On the other side of the table is a seated bearded man. Both have long flowing robes and head scarfs. The lamp stands on the tall pedestal on the table with a jug beside it. Cloth hangs from a suspended rope above. Two holes at the top back for suspension.
