Description
Off white cotton flour bag reputed to be reused as an apron -see Curator's notes. The "words "WINTER FLOUR" may be made out in pale blue ink, underneath is "..... MILL" and another logo below. The bag was used as an apron in the bakery, hence the black lettering "RICHMOND PK LAUNDRY". Ink mark near top "A0416" possibly laundry mark.
Richmond Park Laundry - was in Cambuslang, Glasgow.
Mill name looks like it could be Scotstoun Mill which was also in Glasgow.
