Large copper alloy medal of Gothic design with a heart-shaped centre surrounded by open fretwork ribbons. It is engraved "1847 NUN QUAM NON PARATUS 1897/ GEORGE LIDDLE JUBILEE MEDAL/ Gained by/ ALFRED JAMIESON/ At a Competition of/ Fifth Standard Pupils/ Attending/ Northern School/ FALKIRK/ June/ 1898". It is set in a dark red box with gold trim.
The Liddle Jubilee Medal was presented to scholars of the Northern School.
