Description
1 body sherd of decorated samian. Form 37, Central Gaulish; two joining sherds, probably from a bowl with winding vine scroll decoration (2002-42-61 & 146). The ovolo is Rogers 1974, B143 (Cinnamus ovolo 3 of S&S). A tiny sliver from the top right corner is an old break. Two leaves are visible, a smaller one, Rogers 1974, H99 and a medium sized one, ibid. H62. Both are used by Cinnamus and this would appear to be his work. c.A.D.150-170. [F106 & F202.] This joins with 2002-42-146.
