bulb; light

Production date
1939-1945
Description
Bayonet fitting light bulb painted blue with a gap in the paintwork at the end. This was used at the First Aid Post in Grangemouth Library during the Second World War. It was believed that blue light could not be seen from a distance and using it allowed the door to be left open for short intervals during the blackout.
