Description
Mrs Morton is seated, with a baby on her knee, and a small girl to her right. Mrs Morton is wearing a dark, full skirt, and a light coloured top with a lace jabot. The sleeves are slightly puffed at the shoulder, and there is dark piping on the front of the top. The children are both wearing light, probably white, dresses; the older child's dress has lace, and a frill round its edge. She is wearing a ribbon in her hair. Unclear if the baby is a boy or girl.
