EPNS figure of a goalkeeper with a hockey stick crouching in front of a net, all on a large panelled rectangular block. The main inscription reads "The BAIRN'S TROPHY/ HAS BEEN GIFTED BY THE/ DIRECTORS OF THE FALKIRK ICE RINK/ FOR ANNUAL COMPETITION AT FALKIRK/ AMONG THE CLUBS AFFILIATED TO THE/ SCOTTISH ICE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION/ 30TH NOVEMBER 1938".
