Description
6 joining sherds including 2 rim. The rim is beaded with a plain band below. Below this is a band of egg and dart then a swag with a crouched animal below. To the left of the swag is a vertical dotted line.
Form 37, Central Gaulish. Six joining fragments from a bowl which has lost some of its surface shows panel decoration divided by bead rows. The ovolo is Rogers 1974, B143. The right hand panel contains an unidentified leaf. The right hand panel contains a double-bordered festoon suspended from an astragalus. Below is the small stag, O.1704. The ovolo and stag are both used by Cinnamus. c.A.D.140-170.
