Description
Medal made for the coronation of George V in 1911. On the obverse are portraits of the crowned King and Queen facing left. Around the edge is "KING GEORGE V QUEEN MARY" . On the reverse is a winged figure with a sword with one hand on a plaque that reads "FOR GOD AND COUNTRY" with various symbols including thistles surrounding her. It is also has the words TO COMMEMORATE THEIR MAJESTIES CORONATION JUNE 22ND 1911 DENNY & DUNIPACE"
It has a milled edge. Small perforation with a wire ring for suspension.
