Text on negative envelope reads ' St Ninians Churchyard Old Gravestone. Transcription thereon: Supposed to have been removed from Holyrood church yard when chapel was sacked by mob in 1688. Lodged in some ecclesiastical building in safety and on its demolition used in the construction of the North Bridge, Edinburgh, where found in rebuilding 1890'.This photo is not scanned. You can see the original in the Archives in Callendar House
