Subject notes
The building in front has been replaced by a house and there are several new houses above Charleston House. Charleston House is now a hotel. Gairloch is a fishing port although its lack of a rail connection prevented it growing to the importance of Mallaig or Kyle of Lochalsh. The road from Inverness has been upgraded from single-track.
