Description
A boy is playing golf on the croquet lawn. He is posed with a golf club in his hands, about to hit the ball. A bag of golf clubs is to the left. Also to the left is a garden bench. There is a banking with shrubs and bushes on it, and above the banking, a part of the house can be seen, with a large bay window on the ground floor. There is another garden bench in front of the house. The boy is dressed in knee britches, thick socks, and a striped jacket. All his clothes are dark coloured, apart from his shoes, which are white. He is probably the brother of the girl Margaret Prangnell in p 35975. The house was built for Dr J T Prangnell and his family, and they lived there until his death in 1933. The boy is probably his son, but this is not known for certain.
