Description
Cylindrical brass measure. The measure is marked with portcullis bearing the dates: 1883, 1888, 1903, 1913, 1923, 1933, 1943. Also marked with chequer boards and crowns and initials. Stamped on the exterior is "IMPERIAL HALF GALLON BURGH OF FALKIRK 1835 598" Stamped on the base is "FALKIRK BURGH A. C. and S" and "A. COCHRAN and SON F.B."
