Description
Disc-shaped calculator with white with a black outer scale and red inner scale. Green with a white label and black print. Used at Mungal Foundry for estimating the weight of castings.
This computer determines directly weights of any of the four simple geometric elements normally used in the calculation of weights of castings and forgings, ie solid cylinder, hollow cylinder or tube, rectangle prism and triangle prism.
The company that made the calculator started trading at this address c1957 and split in 1962 - so the items is probably from the 1950s.
