Description
Medium-sized vase in the shape of a small jug or small wine flagon. Bulbous body and funnel shaped neck and rim. Rim pinched to form a poring spout. Strap handle from the outer edge of the body to the middle of the neck. Single groove at the junction of neck and body. Cream glaze with blue, pale green and brown streaky patches. Crazed. Firing crack at the upper junction of the handle.
Stamped under the glaze DUNMORE on the body near the base. Type 1 stamp with large D and E.
