Description
Engine oil heater, in the form of a small hollow cylinder, chrome plated. This heating coil was made for warming the engine cylinders of a Sopwith Camel aeroplane. It was made by the Falkirk Iron Co and was one of many ordered for aircraft parts obtained by foundries in this area. The Sopwith Camel was retired from military duty in 1920.
