Description
Brass mainspring gauge in the form of a flat sheet of brass with serrated edges and a perforated handle at one end. The face is stamped "STANDARD MAINSPRING GAUGES/ GEO.PANTON & SON LTD.GLASGOW".
The gauge has a running scale of 5 to 39 and 40 to 60 on the two sides. There is a 1/100 MM scale in the centre running from 10 to 35. The main scale is in 1/10 MM.
