The range was retrieved from Grahamston Foundry on its closure and was evidently not completed. Only the brackets of the hotplate cover are present and only one is fitted.

as a blacksmith i had to make the opperating internal parts on the fire for thease aga,s and the rake ,we only made maybe 24 every now and again but it was fiddly work , there use to be two brackets at the front and a crhome tube for towel , i use to watch the guy making them ,fitting the asbestos trim around the top flap door cooking plates , when a side of the cooker maybe had a defect we had to weld it up making sure we didnt crack the casting .
