Mottled brown and cream glazed clay curved tile, embossing on the back "H & R JOHNSON TRADE MARK D1 / N / P F MADE IN ENGLAND 57 R". The embossed 57 is upside down.
Used in the production of Lane and Girvan's fires, Caledonia Works, Bonnybridge, c1955.
