Alex McLuckie
Description
Model of a pug locomotive in steel, tin, etc, painted black and gold with "N. B. R. / 32" on the side. Made by Alex McLuckie in his back shed at Brightons.
The real pug no 32 used to run between Lock 16 and Polmont pulling the coal wagons from the collieries to the foundries. Alex gave a larger model to the SRPS at Bo'ness, which was used on a raised track in Callendar Park. This working model pulled carriages that seated children.
