Description
Navy cotton undersuit for a diver with long sleeves and mandarin collar neck with feet attached (the feet/socks are a lighter cotton than the rest of the suit).Opens at front with Velcro fastening and a unsealed fly. Front panelled and had a gusset. Panel around the waist with the knit going at 90 degrees (horizontal) Substantial shoulder pads inserted in shoulders (feel like foam covered in the same material) supported the weight of the helmet. Printed on the label "UNDERSUITS / TYPE 2 / BLUE / Vocab No / 25029 / RHL & co Ltd / 1967" with an arrow pointing upwards. Item belonged to a local diver.
