 Description
Aluminium commemorative medal with ribbon (Blue, white and red), produced for the coronation of George IV and Queen Elizabeth. The obverse shows the crowned portraits of the king and queen facing left. Embossed on the obverse is "CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI AND QUEEN ELIZABETH", and on the reverse "BRITISH MADE" in small letters are top then " ASCENDED THRONE 11th DEC 1936 TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI AND QUEEN ELIZABETH AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY 1937".
