Embossed on the obverse "TOUCH ANE TOUCH A' / THE GOOD SUMARITAN" and on the reverse "FALKIRK AND DISTRICT INFIRMARY / MCMXXV (curvng round) WELL DONE / THIS EMBLEM OF / MERCY AND LOVE / IS AWARDED AS A / TOKEN OF GREAT / APPRECIATION FOR / SERVICES RENDERED / DURING THE EFFORT / TO RAISE FUNDS / FOR THE NEW / EDIFICE". The clasp has the date "1925".
