View of the front elevation of the Town Hall. It is built of stone, on two-storeys with arched windows and a central clock tower (it is 10.20 am) around which is inscribed 'Town Hall' and above it is decorative ironwork. A sign advertises a 'gas exhibition'.

Falkirk Town Hall was built in 1858, taken over as town hall in 1879 and demolished as structurally unsafe in 1968. Its removal threatened the Parish Church and a retaining wall had to be constructed.
