I have one of these, “ Pullin Optics” tripods with its leather carrying cast, I got it from an antique market in Newton Abbot in Devon in 1999 as I looking a tripod for my camera to take photographs of the solar eclipse. I have found the tripod , for me, solid and hardly no shaking when set up right. I have used a large pair of German ww2 10x80 observation/ flak binoculars the tripod with the centre stem piece lowered right down, A great little tripod …
