Description
View of the first cut through the latrine. Annotated on reverse"This Photo was taken during the progress of the 1st Cut north & south which exposed what is now believed to be a Latrine. The piece of wall seen crossing the cut at abut the middle of this Photo is the back wall (south) of said Latrine. In front of it part of the paved floor is clearly shown, but what is of most importance in this photo is that the stones which lined the channel are in situ. These I think unfortunately were removed in clearing out the channel. They are seen in the immediate foreground of the print. See also my other Photos of the Latrine. MB"
