Carpenter's adze with an ash handle. It is stamped on the blade "F. & A. CARRICK FISHERROW - // WARRENTED / CAST 2 STEEL". The pin is round-faced and flares very slightly outward. Although the blade bears the number 2, the blade width is not the standard 9.4cm.
