Description
Heavy wooden pattern for a manhole cover with an iron plate on the back. The top is covered with registration studs. Cast in relief and written by hand on the body "MACKENZIE & MONCUR LTD EDINBURGH 21 1/2 x 21 1/2".
George Paul & Company Limited, Denny bought up Mackenzie & Moncur patterns when the foundry closed in 1972.
