Description
Sleeker with iron, foot recessed, rectangular, flat, shaft rectangular, flat, bulging (in middle), blade rectangular, flat, tapered (at end). See original MDA card for illustration. Made by T. Monk in England. Associated with George Paul & Company Limited, Denny, circa 1910-present day. A flat, knife - like blade, with very slightly convex foot. Used to remove excess sand and to smooth damaged surfaces.
This was catalogued as a cleaner - probably a local name.
