Description
Sleeker (pipe) brass, body curved, rectangular, flat, handle rectangular, flat, curved (at top). Associated with George Paul & Company Limited, Denny, circa 1910-present day. Working surface is convex. Sleekers were used to put refractory material between the mould space and the sand to give a better casting. Could also be used to smooth off the mould.
