Description
Iron corner sleeker, body rectangular, flat, foot rectangular, flat, curving, handle rectangular, flat. One flat, one convex working surface. Made by Monk, T. in England. Associated with George Paul & Company Limited, Denny, circa 1910-present day. Sleekers were used to put refractory material between the mould space and the sand to give a better casting. Also used to smooth off a mould.
