Description
Small bowl with open fretwork bulbous body. Band of variant Greek key pattern. Two small opposing loop handles at the waist, each with a single ring from a chain. Three simple claw feet. The stilt marks are adjacent to the feet and parts of the kiln separators are still attached. The upper section containing the fretwork has been attached after cutting. Green glaze. This deigns was called a "Lady Dunmore Bowl" in a booklet produced by the pottery. It was thought to be for holding pot-prior.
Stamped "DUNMORE" on the base.
