View of two-storey sandstone buildings with slate roofs. On the ground floor on the corner is a shop comprising a gents' hairdresser with a barber's pole, newsagent and confectioner. It is also a tobacconist, advertising Bruno, Walnut Plug and Waverley cigarettes. The shop next to it is empty and W K Henderson's also appears to be empty.
