Description
Carronade, probably cast in or before 1810, at Queenscliff, Victoria, Australia. Text on print reads "As you can see from the notice this gun was cast in the Carron Iron Foundry in or before 1810 and is still in the Queenscliff, Victoria, Australia, Fort. I believe it was part of the original battery on Shorlands before the walled Fort was built. Victoria had enormous gold stores in Bendigo, Geelong and Melbourne to procted".
