Papers relating to the case of Govan Parochial Board against Falkirk Parochial Board in which Govan are trying to recoup the cost of board of a woman, Isabella Bruce, who had been an inmate at Gartnavel Lunatic Asylum; including Memorial of James Blackadder, Inspector of the Poor, Falkirk to assist Alexander Dunlop, advocate in preparation of the case; also draft copy of the above Memorial; also Draft Reclaiming Petition (appeal) by James Blackadder, Inspector of the Poor, Falkirk against the Interlocutor in the above case, advising that the reason for the appeal was that the father of the inmate was in the position to pay and that Falkirk Parochial Board should not be considered liable for her support
