Subject notes
Tramcars are more able to keep going in icy or snowy conditions than motor cars or buses. However the open top and open doors would make it a cold journey. The double deck open trams were superseded by single deck enclosed trams from 1929 onwards. The street lights were installed prior to the opening of Falkirk Power Station in 1903.
