samian (graffito)

Description
1 base sherd with foot ring, Dr.31. There is an engraved graffito inside the foot ring (looks like a star) and part of another outside it. The sherd appears to have been burnt after it was broken.
The basal graffito reads "X^^A" within the quadrants formed by two intersecting lines. See RIB. The other one appears to be the last two letters "II" of the graffito on 1972-64-218.
