Object detail

Administrative History
Joseph Gartshore & Sons was a Grain and Beans Merchants firm at Garrison Place Falkirk and later Seedsmen and Nurserymen, Grocers and General Merchants.

Joseph's father, John Gartshore, who died 1856, was a Farmer at Crossrig and thereafter at Greencraig.

Joseph's sons succeeded him in the business. It appears that Adam Smith, solicitor in Falkirk originally acted on their behalf and then R & A took over.
