Description
An old woman in black shawl, blouse and skirt is sitting by the kitchen range. There is a good fire blazing on the right hand side of the range. On the left is an oven with a cast iron kettle sitting on the hob. The woodwork has dark staining and the wallpaper is plain, probably varnished. The woman is probably photographer's grandmother
