Original cartoon for the Durban Daily News concerning the attempt by the Labour Government to restrict the powers of the House of Lords, showing a man in a cloth cap with Labour written on his cape trying to light a fuse on a barrel of gun powder under the House of Lords, with "Winnie" [Winston Churchill] approaching him from the rear in period costume bearing a sword. Black and white ink and black crayon on paper.
