Includes Disposition by William Bowie of Falkirk to Thomas Callander, baker in Falkirk and Charter of Confirmation by Admiral Sir Thomas Livingstone Baronet in favour of Robert Balloch merchant, Glasgow). Includes 1787 instrument of sasine witnessed by James Aitken, apprentice to James Henderson, writer, Falkirk, which is the first known signature of James Aitken.
