Includes minutes, List of subscribers (totalling £821.19.5); advertisement for schoolmaster; Receipt for first years salary (£5), 1797; 1808 Details of Rent paid from 1798-1808 1812.Invoice for repairing forms and tables and 6 candlesticks 1814 John Heugh sells property to the School of subjects previously rented from him . He had bought the subjects in 1810. Subjects in High Pleasance. Heugh lent to the school to enable the purchase. Constitution ( original?) 1821. First evidence of R+A acting. 1823. Invoice for two men repairing roof of School House 1829 Minute of Commercial School subscribers including James Russel 1839-1842 Correspondence from Robert Walker, an original subscriber, complaining that there was no teacher in the Commercial School and that it had failed. Suggestion as to conversion to the Charity School. 1857 Sketch of ground by A.Black for Charity School. Access by Horsemarket Lane, past the Baptist Chapel 1858 Disposition by Francis Steel in favour of the Charity School of Falkirk Trustees. 1883 Business Account for the sale of the Charity School House.

Bill of Suspension and Interdict for James Finlay & Co, Merchants in Glasgow to prevent Joseph Wimder, Master of the Cherub of Harrington disposing of his cargo at Grangemouth, and Bond of Bottomry by Joseph Winder its master of the Cherub of Harrington, Copenhagen ship, in favour of Jeppe Pratorius (Copenhagen) borrowing money from the latter in order to repair damages to the Cherub of Harrington which was bound for Grangemouth containing a cargo but was driven ashore in Kjogs as a consequence of the weather. Endorsed by James Finlay & Co, Glasgow; payment for the cargo made to Charles Tenant & Co by James Finlay & Co.
